Kind of a siren noise on start up....Once warm goes away

Best would be to bring the car to any turbo problems specialist for free turbo inspection. Professional genuine company will specify exactly what the problem is and find best solution.
Any turbo noise?
Any turbo leak? or no power is mean your VW Passat is make black smoke or is hard to drive up to hill.

any my turbo problems I can easyly check free of charge in Oldbury, this is part of Birmingham located in West Midlands.


This workshop is very professional, good and fast service. If they can't find any solutions they will don't charge you money.


I did fix my BMW 320d.


car is workinf fine over 6 months. I think everything is fine.

I think this link if very usefu for everybody
This company can fix any turbochargers for diesel and petrol cars
I got very good experience with the guys
They will exchange oil and filters and reconditioning your turbo in the house
Before collection you will have a driving test
Just to check the difference
On request you will have photos step by step from turbo replacement service
I very like this
Only this mechanics are very professional in the UK
I know lots of mechanics but not like this garage

I did my Land Rover Discovery 3 in this garage.

This garage specialise only in turbo replacement and all reconditioning service is in the house - supply and fitting

The workshop is clean and tidy

Few my friends fix there cars they are happy
Fast turn and great service
New turbo service and 2 years warranty
Best Turbos are Land Rover and BMW specialists

My VW Passat 1.9 TDI have turbo problem, I'm looking for good mechanic for repair my car.

Blue smoke is all the time and noise.

Big problem for me.

Engine starts to eat its own engine oil, lots of oil was inside intercooler

I been driven the car for few days and engine starts to eat its own engine oil again.

Whats a problem?

Don’t buy turbo on EBay.

This is junk website.

I did purchased turbo from somebody who avoids warranty after 3 months.

I lot lots of oil, engine sucks the oil, and engine is gone.

I did rebuild the engine and replaced genuine turbo from Best Turbos.

You can find good turbocharger on ebay, but dont buy first and cheapest one. This will 100% be fake build on chinese parts so will fail soon
You need to look for UK Based sellers with good reputation and buy only from sellers that cover their products with warranty at least one year!

Good turbo cant be cheap

I have a 2.0 VW Golf BKD engine, heavy smoke come from exhaust and its looks oily
anyone can advice?
