Mazda 6 2.2 185hp VJ40 Turbo Problem

Hi guys,
I think that I have problem with turbocharger in my Mazda 6. Turbo doesn't seem to boost anymore or just a little bit. I have a management lights on dash and ratting noise when accelerate.

I managed to get photos and this is how it's look like:

Can you give me any advice? How bad this is look?

This looks like your turbocharger is gone. Can you try to move the wheel? Check is there is up/down movement?

This rattling noise may be also sign that shaft has snapped or seals is gone

From pictures I can say that this turbocharger is gone, but I cannot promise
Just like Pysia said, try to move wheel and check for any unexpected movement like up and down.

I managed to strip down turbocharger and just like you said guys, shaft has snapped into two pieces and I need turbo replacement

I wanted to let you guys know that I was able to get the problem fixed,the hose that connects to the charcoal box was filled with spider webs so thanks for the info
