My brother in law have had similar problem in BMW 330d last month
The turbo was damage
He pays £800 in BMW dealer
5 days without the car!
Very slow service and poor quality

Hi my missis had 330d done by Best Turbos from Oldbury in Bermingham.
Had problem with turbo vanes and actuator.
They wanted clean turbo only but was posibility it can happen again.
she decidet to go for new turbo.
They recon turbocharger, changed oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, oil feed pipe and gave 2 years warranty on job.
Bmw never drove like that since she had it.
Those people know their stuf.
