I have had turbo overboost in my Land Rover TDV8


sorted: turbo regeneration and fitting service


VNT was ceased, builded carbon deposit

Dangerous is white or blue smoke,



My car have had lack of power,



Mechanic striped pipes from turbo aluminium case and check turbo condition



big loose on the shaft, lots of oil arround the turbo

To avoid any turbocharger problems, you need to look after the car.

maintain on time, I mean exchange fuel filter, air and oil filters and oil on time.

Do not use cheap oils from tesco or Lidle.

Turbo getting high spin and need good quality oils.

Smoking from exhaust very badly, turbocharger housing has cracked or damaged, turbo charger internal parts are damaged, compressors wheels, bearing or shaft are surfaare in bad condition.

Coming laudy sound, police siren sound, loud whining noise when accelerate.

i have a lot of grey smoke comes from exhaust in my 4.4 tdv8
I think i take it to best turbos for free inspection
does anybody was there before? I saw a lot of good opinions but i would like to ask what community thinks
