Land Rover Range Rover 3 - engines

Land Rover petrol:

4.2 V8 compressor (396 hp)

4.4 V8 (286-306 hp)

5.0 V8 (375 hp)

Motor production BMW tempting as reasonable fuel consumption (11.5-12.5 l / 60miles in the city), of course, reasonable for this class of car, and

failure-free. In this unit, the drive failures happen injectors, fuel pumps and turbochargers. Fortunately, the elimination of these defects is not

overly expensive.

Is it really worth it?

Members Range Rovers 3 of the diesel engine of 3.6 l complain about the unstable turbocharger that uses susceptible to damage the seal.

Land Rover is my favourite car. To avoid "turbo problems " you need to look after him

Change oil and filters on time

Emu lights on dashboard, reset or find the foot

Do not drive with faulty turbo or EGR

Use only right fuel,

Any serious turbo problems call dedicated turbo mechanics

Land Rover common faults : EGR problems - cylinder doesn't work, is permanent open or closed
Turbo rotor, actuator or bearing are damage
On the dashboard warning information "engine fault"
Solution is only one: lift up car body shell and replace faulty parts, only from Main Dealer or "Best Turbos" ( good quality parts)
