I'm new on this forum
I just drive on motorway white smoke come from my BMW 320D
Engine over revved about 5 minutes
I removed key and engine still been running
Than stopped, I couldn't start again
AA come and took my car for my friends garage
They diagnosed engine is gone
I'm looking for new or recon engine for my BMW 320D
Please help me

I think this is the turbo problem.
Do you have any noise?
If not turbo seal or bearing is gone.
You need to change turbo unit, I think or your engine is faulty, can loose oil is well.
Did you check engine engine breather?
BMW engine combustion pressure will inevitably pass the piston rings into the crankcase.
If BMW engine's breathing system should become blocked or restricted oil leaks to the exhaust and white smoke is coming.
Crank case breathers was blocked up!

They checked turbo condition and all external devices like EGR, DPF, Boost Sensor and MAF sensor.
Only engine breather was blocked and made this white smoke.
Car is pulling nicely without problems.
Before turbo fitting check intercooler
My local mechanic did change all of the injectors to make sure everything is fine
Turbo was death !
