Remove the cabin air filter with cover, plastic engine cover, air filter, manifold, exhaust manifold, watch out for wires and various cables.
Turbo replacement is pretty hard job for "no mechanics".
Intake manifold & injectors do not have to be remove.
You definitely need to remove the air filter. air filter housing
Remove 3 plastic covers
Remove the screws from the top of a long extension and "star key".
Remove bottom bracket, disconect feed pipes from turbocharger
Turbo remove from the bottom.
Put back new or rebuilded turbocharger and change oil and all filters.
After that your BMW is ready to go

Before fit new or reconditioned turbocharger check the engine system oil preasure, turbo pipes and find why turbocharger was dammaged or failured
Check intercooler, if oil is there - clean
Change oil feed pipe to make sure oil will come to the turbocharger.

Proper mechanic will dismount turbo,clean intercooler, pipes, boost sensor, engine breather (crankcase breather) , air mass air flow sensor, install new turbo and change oil and filters
Crankcase breather if is blocked make lots of problems for turbo and engine
Oily boost sensor as well
Mass flow meters is very important
All turbo system must be clean and tidy
Turbo system is quite complicated
Maybe boost sensor is faulty or air mass sensor?
Check turbo pipes
Maybe split or disconnected
