Turbo industry rise in poor quality Chinese Turbos.

Be carefull!

Genuine new turbo will cost £800-900

Recondition old turbocharger is better option for you. before buy anything check company reviews.

Buy only turbo from stable companies on the market.

Try to find the mechanic or company who can supply and fit turbocharger to your VW
, if anything is happen they can replace for you turbo for free of charge. If you buy on eBay you need take time and your car will long time waiting for turbocharger. Supply and fit will be much more faster.

Independent mechanic will always try to take big money for nothing.

Good professional turbo mechanic will charge £550-700 for labour, turbo fitting and new oils and filters.

Turbo must be made in Europe.

For example turbo, turbocharger for VW Passat B5 1.9 TDI or Audi A4 1.9 TDI or Audi A6 1.9 TDI or Skoda Superb I 1.9 TDI will cost you £270

I know that
Only supplying and fitting company is good
I always going to check reviews or ask friends for trusted garage or mechanic
On this time everybody need the car 24/7
If someone sitting in home all day this is different story
I'm driving 120 miles everyday from home to work
Last time my Passatt 1.9 rid have had turbo problem
Black smoke come on motorway
I lost the power and car was on limp mode
I called AA and took the car to the very professional garage in Oldbury
They concentrate only on turbo systems
You just shown the links Admin
This company fix my car in one working day
I was shocked very positive
Five stars service
They charged me £550 beard new oil and filters recommend by dealer and reconditioned turbo and 24 months warranty
My Passatt is drive very well now
I'm happy

Do service on time :)

This is very problematic make
Nev generation of cars are rubbish
Designers made common faults to promote "car parts sales" and give the jobs for automotive industry
Classic cars was made for fun was useful
New cars are very expensive maintenance
This is something wrong

In 99% cheap mechanic = shitty mechanic.
Its better to spend £50 more for someone that will do job properly trust me. I used to left my car in cheap garages, and I was paid few times twice for the same job because they did shit!
